Mr. Schauder is President and owner of Environmental Testing and Management, a professional industrial hygiene monitoring firm providing expertise in the areas of chemical monitoring, noise exposure monitoring, asbestos, and indoor air quality / mold issues. Mr. Schauder is an American Board of Industrial Hygiene Certified Industrial Hygienist., with more than 30 years of broad-based industrial hygiene experience and more than 20 years of consulting experience. Mr. Schauder has been certified as an expert witness in both federal level courts and several state courts.

Mr. Schauder holds a B.S. Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the City University of New York, a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology from Wayne State University School of Medicine and has completed all of the required coursework for a Doctorate in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He is a recipient of the Warren G. Cook award for Outstanding Contributions to Industrial Hygiene and the South Carolina Occupational Safety Council Distinguished Service award. He is the coauthor of two books on industrial hygiene topics, and continues to serve on several committees of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, including:

For the past twenty years, Mr. Schauder has been actively involved as a consultant in the asbestos field. He and his firm have conducted inspections for the presence of asbestos in suspect materials, designed asbestos abatement projects, provided air monitoring services (before, during and following abatement activity), and acted as the building owner’s representative during abatement to ensure projects are completed in accordance with applicable regulations and specifications. Mr. Schauder holds the following licenses from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control:

Mr. Schauder is also actively involved assisting clients in the area of Indoor Air Quality, with investigations into chemical, mold and other building contamination. Mr. Schauder works closely with building owners to identify, evaluate, and resolve indoor air quality issues, whether they affect the occupants and/or the building envelope itself. In particular, Mr. Schauder has worked in numerous medical facilities to resolve indoor air quality issues.
