Environmental Testing and Management has the knowledge, experience and equipment to provide professional industrial hygiene services over a broad range of categories:

Air sampling for gases, dusts, vapors, mists and fumes whether they are used in a manufacturing process, institutional setting or are present in commercial or residential buildings. If you are unsure of the identity of an agent causing concern among building occupants, ETM can work with you to identify and then quantify the chemical(s) present.
Investigating and evaluating generalized indoor air quality complaints with specific recommendations on how to address any concerns discovered.
Investigating and evaluating mold growth present or suspected within a building envelop to address concerns of building occupants and determine a course of action to remediate mold or other biological growth found.
Conducting noise source surveys utilizing a sound level meter and/or conducting personal dosimetry monitoring, analyzing all data for comparison to requirements of the OSHA Noise Standard and Hearing Conservation Amendment.
Providing sampling of and analytical results for asbestos containing materials present in material (bulk sampling) or in the air during the course of building renovation or remediation.
Providing sampling of and analytical results for lead containing materials present during the course of building structure renovation or remediation.

Following each survey and analysis of data, ETM will provide a report including conclusions and recommendations outlining effect control strategies to solve any over exposure revealed as a part of the survey.

In addition to the above, ETM provides expert analysis of your facility’s OSHA compliance through Industrial Hygiene audits and walk-through surveys. Based upon findings, ETM can develop an assessment and training program for your facility. Examples of audit / assessment areas include:
