This 5-day AHERA course is designed for individuals responsible for supervising asbestos abatement projects and managing asbestos workers in the field.  Training focuses on the practical and regulatory responsibilities of the on-site supervisor, including work area setup, containment integrity, engineering controls, worker protection, air monitoring requirements, waste handling, and project documentation requirements.  Participants engage in hands-on exercises involving glovebag procedures, containment construction, respirator use, decontamination systems, and response actions commonly encountered during abatement operations.  Emphasis is placed on developing the leadership, compliance, and problem-solving skills necessary to safely and effectively oversee real-world asbestos abatement projects.

This 1-day refresher course helps professionals maintain accreditation while staying current with changing regulations, industry standards, and work practices.  ETM's Asbestos Supervisor Refresher course reinforces the practical leadership and compliance responsibilities associated with overseeing asbestos abatement projects in the field.  Through interactive discussion and workshop exercises, participants view real-world scenarios involving containment integrity, worker protection, regulatory compliance, project documentation, air monitoring coordination, and response to changing site conditions.  The course addresses current federal and state regulatory updates, evolving work practices, and common field challenges to help supervisors maintain confidence, competence, and effective project oversight.
